WE’RE TAKING OVER THE EVO UNDERGROUND!
Basement: High-energy dance party on EVO’s newly renovated dance floor, featuring pop-up performances every 30 minutes once the lights go down.
Main Floor: Silent auction + community connection space.
Main and Upper Floor: Social vibes with 1900’s & 2000’s music videos playing on every screen — the ultimate throwback lounge.
The kitchen opens at 4:00 PM for Happy Hour, and the bars will be pouring both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks all night.
At 7:00 PM, the lights go down and the beats go UP in the UNDERGROUND!
Neon is strongly encouraged!
You’ll receive a glowing bracelet at the door to kick off the night — and yes, there will be a friendly costume/look contest, so go ALL OUT.

She is a staple in the Vancouver LGBTQ community, making appearances at countless queer parties all over the city including Vancouver Pride and adding HousewerQ to her growing list, a house music inspired night she’s also co-founded. You might also see her playing often at Blueprints’ very own Celebrities nightclub. She is also the owner of her Banger HR:00 Mix Show.

We don't just say GAY, we spell it! Join Emmonia in this competition to see who is the best gay speller in Edmonton
Welcome to THE BIG GAY SPELLING BEE hosted by YEG Drag MonSTAR Emmonia!
Are you the best gay speller Edmonton has to offer? Compete in The Big Gay Spelling bee with $300 in cash prizes for the winners. Get the word right, you move on to the next round, get it wrong and you get the CHOP. We go until one speller remains!
You will automitcally be registered into the competition upon purchasing a COMPETITOR ticket.
If you prefer to watch and cheer on your long time or newly made friends of the night please purchase a SPECTATOR ticket - you will have access to the event but will not be particiapting in the competition.
1st place: $150
2nd place: $100
3rd place: $50

Event rules:
Competitors will be asked to spell a mix of straight words and gay slang increasing in difficulty each round. If you spell your word correctly you will advance to the next round. If you spell a word wrong you will be elimanted. We continue until one speller reamins. However since this is a gay spelling bee expect lots of twistst, turns, and tomfoolery.
NOTE: The event takes place in the basement and is not wheelchair accessible. We are limited in this space but if there are any accomadations we can make to make this event easier/more comfortable for you please reach out via dm to @itsemmonia on Instagram.

ELEN can't wait to host another fundraiser for Beyond The Trees: Alberta's Inclusive Overnight Outdoor Youth Camp! We are so pleased to be collabing with Evo to offer dinner service for this one.
This all ages event will welcome youth, parents, siblings, families, volunteers and supporters of all the amazing programming BTT has to offer. While raising money for a good cause, you get an awesome burger meal deal and the opportunity to play cute campy games that re-create a summer experience. This year Beyond the Trees will host Leadership Camp, Camp Borealis Overnight and Day Camps, Born this Way and the newly launched Born this Way: Family Style (for queer fams). At Beyond The Trees, every child is not just welcomed but celebrated for their unique essence.
