  • 90s-00s Dance Party for SACE

    EVO - Underground Room 11508 Jasper Avenue NW, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

    WE’RE TAKING OVER THE EVO UNDERGROUND!
     Basement: High-energy dance party on EVO’s newly renovated dance floor, featuring pop-up performances every 30 minutes once the lights go down.

     Main Floor: Silent auction + community connection space.

     Main and Upper Floor: Social vibes with 1900’s & 2000’s music videos playing on every screen — the ultimate throwback lounge.
    The kitchen opens at 4:00 PM for Happy Hour, and the bars will be pouring both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks all night.

    At 7:00 PM, the lights go down and the beats go UP in the UNDERGROUND!

     Neon is strongly encouraged!
    You’ll receive a glowing bracelet at the door to kick off the night — and yes, there will be a friendly costume/look contest, so go ALL OUT.

    All proceeds — including silent auction and ticket sales — go directly to the Sexual Assault Centre of Edmonton (SACE).

    Hosted by Gabii Minorah, with electrifying performances by Camren, Etherea, and Gabe Autum, this show is all about celebrating talent while supporting a vital cause. In response to a recent break-in, all proceeds from this event will go directly to RaricaNow, a trans-focused community organization. Tickets are $10. Come out, tip your performers, and show your love. (Door Admission $15 so buy advance and save money to tip performers!)

  • Summer Camp in the City: All Ages Fundraiser & Silent Auction

    ELEN can't wait to host another fundraiser for Beyond The Trees: Alberta's Inclusive Overnight Outdoor Youth Camp! We are so pleased to be collabing with Evo to offer dinner service for this one.

    This all ages event will welcome youth, parents, siblings, families, volunteers and supporters of all the amazing programming BTT has to offer. While raising money for a good cause, you get an awesome burger meal deal and the opportunity to play cute campy games that re-create a summer experience. Fill out your camp Passport by participating to receive a prize.

    This year Beyond the Trees will host Leadership Camp, Camp Borealis Overnight and Day Camps, Born this Way and the newly launched Born this Way: Family Style (for queer fams). At Beyond The Trees, every child is not just welcomed but celebrated for their unique essence.
    We are so excited that Evo is offering a cheeseburger and beer bundle included in every regular ticket purchase.

    **Absolutely no modifications or substitutions. **Pop can be substituted for beer. This is the only modification allowed.

  • May Long Weekend Drag Show: EVOcares

    Time after time, its been proven that community needs to take care of itself... that's why EVO launched their EVOcares fund, a mutual aid and support initiative aimed at giving a hand up when needed.

    We get asked often to help with rent or bills or food, and sadly, we aren't always in a position to give help. This fundraiser and others like it will create a pool for people to draw from.

    And we're gonna have fun doing it, with a massive drag show.
