    TRANS DAY OF REMEMBRANCE 2025! 
    Honoring lives, uplifting the future.
    This year, we want our gathering to be more meaningful and to create a way forward to build safe and brave futures for trans people to live freely and protected without fear of being unlived, disowned, or violent. It's evidence that the authoritative state is, and might use the notwithstanding clause to continue violating the rights of trans youth, just like the attack on the Alberta teachers' freedom of expression.
    Join us in remembrance and resistance. We gather to honor trans lives lost, grieve, uplift trans futures, and celebrate the power of community.
    OVERVIEW
    The Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is observed every year on November 20 to honor the memory and legacy of transgender individuals who have lost their lives due to acts of anti-transgender violence. This day raises awareness about the violence faced by the transgender community and advocates for a more inclusive society.
    What to Expect:
    A talk and performance from Miss Angelica Ross, Name reading, heartfelt conversations about our collective future, and a call to protect trans youth. Through performances, Trans Voices, fundraising, and a silent auction, we uplift trans existence and celebrate our enduring legacy, supporting trans-led initiatives. Be with the community. Bring a candle. Bring your whole self.

    “Trans Existence is Resistance,” which centers the lives, futures, protection, and leadership of trans people.
