Edmonton’s last remaining gay bar, Evolution Wonderlounge, is on the move from its current home of 12 years on 103 Street to Jasper Avenue, hoping to take advantage of the new space to expand its community.
“The other space was a dance club and show bar, and it’s been amazing for 12 years, and it was all that we could be,” said Evolution co-owner Rob Browatzke.
It will also get a name change to just EVO and is set to land at the former location of Reign Premium Lounge and Kitchen, 11508 Jasper Ave., in April.
